About the LSP
The Sport Large-Scale Skills Partnership (Sport LSP) brings together key European organisations committed to strengthening skills development across the sport ecosystem. It operates at a transnational level, connecting national initiatives and stakeholders to build a coherent and coordinated European approach.
Aligned with the objectives of the Pact for Skills, the Sport LSP plays a central role in structuring the sport sector at European scale. It supports the recognition of sport as a strategic economic sector and contributes to shaping policies, frameworks, and initiatives that address skills, employability, and innovation across Europe.


What the Sport LSP supports
The Sport LSP focuses on driving collaboration and implementing strategic actions at European level. Its main activities include:
- Coordinating cooperation between national partnerships across Europe
- Supporting the integration of the sport sector into the Pact for Skills
- Contributing to the development of European frameworks such as micro-credentials
- Promoting mobility and recognition of skills across countries
- Supporting innovation and knowledge exchange within the sport ecosystem
- Organising European-level events, workshops, and consultations
- Identifying future skills needs and supporting policy development
