About the Alliance pour les compétences sportives (France Sport RSP)
The Alliance Hauts-de-France pour les compétences sportives brings together sport organisations, training providers, universities, public authorities and employers to better respond to the skills and employment challenges facing the sport sector. Developed within the framework of the STARS project, the Alliance covers the whole of France while focusing its pilot projects and specific activities in the Hauts-de-France region.
Anchored within the European Pact for Skills initiative, the Alliance contributes to building a structured and coordinated approach to training, employment, and professional development in sport. It acts as a bridge between regional realities national and and European strategies, ensuring that local needs are reflected in broader policy and innovation frameworks.
What the Alliance supports
The RSP France supports collaborative actions that strengthen skills development and vocational excellence across the regional sport ecosystem. Its priorities include:
- Identifying current and emerging skills needs in the sport sector
- Supporting upskilling, reskilling and lifelong learning opportunities for sport professionals
- Supporting recognition of prior learning and professional experience
- Strengthening cooperation between education providers, employers, public authorities and sport organisations
- Supporting the digital and green transitions across the sport ecosystem
- Organising workshops, events, and knowledge-sharing initiatives

The Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications d’Excellence 135 BPM, located in the Hauts-de-France region, is a dynamic collective initiative dedicated to the structuring and development of the sports sector. It brings together stakeholders from training, education, the business world and institutions around a common goal: to enhance the appeal of sports careers, promote professional integration, and support the development of skills. Its work focuses on educational innovation, European mobility, and support for trainers, thereby helping to increase the social impact of sports. A leading player in European projects such as STARS, the campus embodies an ambitious and pioneering vision, placing sport at the service of social cohesion and professional excellence.

The Hauts-de-France academic region comprises the Amiens (Aisne, Oise, Somme) and Lille (Nord, Pas-de-Calais) school districts. It comprises 6 universities, 536 apprentice training centres, and nearly 6 000 schools, making it the third-largest academic region in France, with over one million primary and secondary school pupils, 250 000 college students, and 64 000 apprentices.
As the regional representative of the Ministry of Education, it coordinates regional education policies, including vocational training, higher education, efforts to combat school dropout, and the management of European funds. With its extensive networks and resources, the academic region actively contributes to innovative initiatives such as the STARS project, supporting experimentation and transformation in physical education.
